What a joy it was to spend the day passing on a little sparkle! We ran a workshop at the indoor playground, walking a group of eager young learners through the basics of face painting and glitter tattoos. And of course, nothing teaches better than seeing it in action — one of the playground's littlest adventurers bravely volunteered, and by the end, they were absolutely glowing (quite literally!).
The Basics
We began with the fundamentals: how to hold and guide a brush with confidence, how to load two colours onto it at once, and how to angle it just so, for clean, sharp lines every time.
The Technique
Here's a little secret we love sharing — with just one brush loaded with colour, a touch of water, and the right technique, you can create a beautiful butterfly in only four strokes! It really does prove that great face painting comes down to knowing your craft, not having a big toolkit.
Line Art
No design feels finished without crisp line art. It's that final touch that sharpens the outlines and gives every little face-painted masterpiece its professional, eye-catching finish.

It was such a heartwarming day watching these young learners take it all in! With the skills they picked up, who knows where it might lead — perhaps a new creative hobby, or even their very first little gig down the road!
